The short cycle lamination hot press machine includes several essential components for efficient and high-quality panel production.

The loading system automatically feeds particleboard or MDF panels into the press. The glue paper feeding unit aligns and places melamine-impregnated paper precisely. The hot press applies high temperature and pressure to bond the paper to the panel surface. Hydraulic systems control the pressing force, while PLC and touchscreen controls enable automated operation and parameter adjustment. The unloading and stacking system handles finished panels efficiently. Together, these components ensure consistent lamination quality, increased productivity, and reduced labor requirements in panel manufacturing.

Workflow Steps:

  1. Raw Board Feeding: MDF or particleboard panels are cleaned and automatically loaded onto the conveyor system.
  1. Melamine Paper Positioning: Melamine-impregnated decorative paper is aligned and placed on top of the substrate by an automatic aligning mechanism.
  1. Layer Alignment: The board and decorative paper are precisely aligned to ensure accurate lamination and consistent quality.
  1. Press Loading: The layered material is transferred into the hot press via an automatic loading system.
  1. Heating and Pressing: The press applies heat (150–220°C) and hydraulic pressure (50–100 kg/cm²) for 8–30 seconds, bonding the paper to the board.
  1. Cooling Phase: After pressing, the board is slightly cooled inside the press to stabilize the laminated surface and avoid deformation.
  1. Unloading: The laminated board is automatically removed from the press and sent to the next processing area.
  1. Stacking or Inspection: Panels are either stacked for packaging or sent for edge trimming, surface inspection, or polishing.
  1. PLC System Monitoring: The entire process is monitored and controlled by a PLC system to ensure precision, efficiency, and safety.
